Project description:

This 900m2 regional headquarters for the Ambulance Service of NSW incorporates a main vehicle plant room and an administration annexe housing offices, staff amenities, training and common areas, radio control room, medical stores and external landscaped entertainment courtyard.

A full-height curtain wall, clerestory awning windows and large glazed automatic doors feature in the main high-bay plant room.

Architectural features include a "Terracade" external terracotta cladding system, exposed rolled circular girder trusses with a full-length roof ventilator.

Building services include a vehicle wash bay with oil separator and an integrated security system. The facility was constructed within a koala protection habitat under a fauna management plan.
